我們可以從詞義，用法上來分析

1、some  一些

  many  很多

2、some  可修飾可數和不可數名詞some boys，some water

many修飾可數名詞

many books。

3、some 通常肯定句用如:There are some girls in the classroom.

4、有時也用於疑問句

表示期望得到肯定回答，並不表示對某事有疑問.如:Will you give me some water?

但是，當some用於句子中表示疑問時，要將sime變成any

如：There is some water in the bowl.

---Is there any water in the bowl

many可做代詞或形容詞，複數替代或修飾可數名詞
