There be( not / no )…作為一種句型，自然也是有它的意思的，There be( not / no )…翻譯為(沒)有。
我們中文常説“有鳥在樹上。”或“有一個漂亮的女孩在那裏。”等，都需要用到there is 或 there are 的句型， 翻譯成中文就是“有”的意思，是很常用的基本句型！
句型解析
1、There be + 代名詞或名詞（短語）+ 地點 / 時間
這是最常見並且超實用的一個句型。表示“有某人（或某物）在某地（或某時）”。
ex: There are some birds in the tree
樹上有些鳥兒。
2、否定形式就是直接在be 後面加 not 或 no 疑問形式就是直接將be 搬到there前
否定形式就是句子會是：There be not / no … 。注意：not 不可直接加名詞no才可直接加名詞。而否定形式的句子，也就是: Is there / Are there …。
There is not any food on the table . = There is no food on the table .
桌上沒有食物。
ex: Is there a girl in the room ?
有個女孩在房裏嗎
3、be 動詞可以用各種時態出現
There be 指的就是中文的“有”，其中的be 動詞可以用各種時態出現，如現在式的is 、are ，的過去式的was 、were ， 未來式的will be ， 完成式 have/has been 等。
ex: There was a rlver near here before .
以前這裏有一條河流。
There will be a party tomorrow .
明天將有一場派對。
4、遵循“就近原則”
在這個舉行中，主語是代名詞或名詞（短語），所以be 動詞要搭配主語的單複數。如果句子中出現兩個主語時，be動詞的單複數要與最接近的主語一致，即遵循“就近原則”。
ex: There is a pen and some pencils on the desk.
有一支鋼筆和一些鉛筆在書桌上。
5、用於故事發生的開頭
There be 句型還有一個很常用的場合， 那就是用於故事發生的開頭，交代故事發生的時間。此時，因為是在講述故事，所以be動詞常用過去式，而且還常與過去時間副詞連用。
ex：Once upon a time ， there was a giant in the castle .
很久很久以前，城堡裏有一個巨人。

A: Look! There is a beautiful girl .
B: Really ? Which way ?But I can't find where she is .
A: 看啊 ！那邊有一個漂亮女孩。
B：真的嗎在哪裏但是我找不到她在哪裏啊！
A: I have no time to attend the single party this weekend . What a pity !
B:There will not be a single party this weekend .
A: 我沒有時間參加這個週末的單身派對了，真可惜！
B：這個週末並沒有單身派對。
A: Once upon a time ， there was a clever hunter in the forest .
