1、too/so/very/quite都可以接形容詞/副詞原級
例1：You run too fast.
too修飾副詞原級fast。句意：你跑太快了。
例2：You are so nice. so 修飾形容詞原級nice。句意：你如此友善。
例3：It is very tall. very修飾形容詞原級tall，句意：它非常高。
例4：The problem is quite easy. quite 修飾形容詞原級easy，句意：這個問題相當簡單。
二、as+形容詞/副詞原級+as，意為“和……一樣……”
例一：I am as tall as you. 我和你一樣高。
例二：I write as carefully as you.我和你寫得一樣認真。
三、not as/so+形容詞/副詞原級+as，意為“……不如……”
例一：I am not as tall as you.我不如你高。
例二：She is not so clever as you.她不如你聰明。
可修飾比較級的詞
1）a bit， a little， rather， much， far， by far， many， a lot， lots， a great deal， any， still， even等
2）還可以用表示倍數的詞或度量名詞作修飾語。
3）以上詞(除by far)外，必須置於比較級形容詞或副詞的前面。
典型例題:
1） ---- are you feeling ____?
---- yes，i'm fine now.
a. any well b. any better c. quite good
d. quite better
b. any 可修飾比較級，quite修飾原級，well的比較級為better.
2）the experiment was____ easier than we had expected.
a. more b. much more c. much
d. more much
c. much可修飾比較級，因此b，c都説得通，但easier本身已是比較級，不需more，因此c為正確答案。
3）if there were no examinations， we should have ___ at school.
a. the happiest time b. a more happier time
