Queen和queen的用法

queen的基本意思是“女王”，是独立政体的女王、女酋长、女首领等的头衔，通常是世袭的，用作专有名词时首字母要大写。

例如：

Queen Elizabeth the Second：伊丽莎白女皇二世 其他的都是小写情况了。

The Queen: In a few weeks'time， you will ascend the throne as king.再过几周你就要登基成为国王

queen不作专有名词，作普通名词时，首字母不必大写

如：The queen of that country is only a figurehead.那个国家的女王只是个有名无实的首脑。

She was the queen of society then.那时她是社交界之后。
