The Tortoise and the Hare
龜兔賽跑
Once upon a time， there was a very fast hare. He liked running and always showed off how fast he could run.
很久很久以前，有一隻跑的非常快的兔子。他很喜歡跑步，總是炫耀自己跑得有多快。
“Who wants to race me?” he asked.
“誰想和我賽跑”他問道。
“I want to race you.” a slow tortoise challenged him.
“我想和你賽跑。”一隻慢烏龜向他挑戰。
All the animals went to watch the race.
所有的動物都去觀看比賽了。
They shouted: “3… 2… 1… go!”
他們喊道：“3…2…1…開始！“
The hare ran very fast and the tortoise walked very slowly.兔子跑得很快，烏龜走得很慢。
Soon， the hare saw the finish line. The tortoise was far behind him， so the hare decided to stop and take a break. He fell asleep under a tree.
不久，兔子看到了終點線。烏龜遠遠地落在他後面，於是兔子決定停下來休息一會兒。他在一顆樹下睡着了。
Later， the tortoise walked quietly past the sleeping hare. He didn’t stop walking until he reached the finish line.後來，烏龜悄悄地從睡着的兔子身邊走過。他到達了終點線。
The animals cheered so loudly for tortoise that they woke the hare up.動物們大聲地爲烏龜歡呼，把兔子吵醒了。
The hare ran to the finish line， but he saw the tortoise had already won the race.兔子跑到終點線，但他看到烏龜已經贏得了比賽。
The tortoise smiled and said: “Slow and careful always win the race！”
烏龜笑着說：“慢慢地，小心地總是贏這場比賽！”
