although和eventhought區別

although不能引出倒裝語序的跑步狀語從句。

eventhough（＝evenif），意為“即使”，引導讓步狀語從句，也有退一步設想的意味，與though不同gh引導的句子所説的是事實，eventhough引導的句子所説的則不一定是事實.

例如：Hewillnottellthesecreteventhough（evenif）heknowsit．即使他知道這個祕密，他也不肯説出來.

Hewillnottellthesecretthoughheknowsit．他雖然知道這個祕密，但他不會説出來.

although可置於句首，也可置於句末，也可用於句中表強調，指儘管，although較書面，語氣上although更強調讓步關係。

even though一般置於句首 ，引導的讓步從句所指的則是事實兼讓步。
